1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using findrentalequipment.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What EquipSearch Is
EquipSearch is an online directory that lists equipment rental companies across the United States. We provide information about rental businesses to help users find and contact rental providers. EquipSearch is not a rental company and does not rent equipment. We are not a party to any transaction between users and rental companies.
3. Accuracy of Listings
Business listing data on EquipSearch is sourced from public databases and may not always be accurate, complete, or current. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of phone numbers, addresses, hours, or any other listing information. Always verify details directly with the business before making rental arrangements.
4. User-Submitted Content
By submitting a review, contact form, listing request, or any other content to EquipSearch, you:
- Confirm the content is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Grant EquipSearch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the content on the Site
- Agree not to submit content that is defamatory, fraudulent, illegal, or violates anyone's rights
We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our discretion.
5. Business Owner Accounts
If you claim a listing and receive an owner account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when editing your listing. EquipSearch may suspend or terminate owner accounts that violate these terms or post misleading information.
6. Featured Listings and Payments
Featured listing subscriptions are processed through Stripe. All fees are stated at the time of purchase. Featured listings are activated upon successful payment. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use EquipSearch to:
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site without written permission
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews or listing information
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. EquipSearch does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listing information is accurate or complete. Use of the Site and reliance on any listing information is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EquipSearch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any rental transaction arranged through the Site. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to EquipSearch in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
